BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 22, 2026) – After what proved to a slow start to their Super Dirt Cup campaign at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington, Rico Abreu and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing (TSR) turned the corner in a hurry, eventually concluding their three-day campaign with a top-five in the $100,000-to-win finale on Saturday, June 20.
Abreu, the reigning High Limit Racing national champion as well as current championship point leader, finished fourth in his top-five effort, climbing ahead nine spots to do so. The eventual NARC King of the West top-five was Rico’s second top-ten of the weekend, opening Dirt Cup competition with a tenth-place score in Thursday’s preliminary – he started 11th.
Speaking of High Limit, Series competition will resume in less than a week, set to invade the picturesque Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Montana, on Friday and Saturday, June 26-27. Dubbed the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race, the two-day affair will not only cap High Limit’s busy June slate, but in addition, award a $26,000 share. As noted, Abreu and TSR will enter action on top of the standings, padding their stat sheet with 18 Series top-tens, ten of those resulting inside the top-five including three victories.
