BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 12, 2025) – As expected year-to-year, it was an all-out war in Pennsylvania Posse Country, and Fargo, North Dakota’s Donny Schatz was all in on the action, concluding his two-race invasion of Central Pennsylvania with one top-five appearance, that occurring in Williams Grove Speedway’s Morgan Cup on Saturday, May 10. Schatz, a several-time World of Outlaws winner at the famed Mechanicsburg paperclip, finished fourth in the Morgan Cup A-Main, commencing action from the exact same position. It was a runner-up score during heat race action that secured Schatz a spot in the evening’s dash.
Schatz, ace of the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing, Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15 sprint car, battled as high as second in the $20,000-to-win, 30-lap contest, actually pulling even with Anthony Macri – the eventual winner – on lap 11. Defending World of Outlaws champion David Gravel would eventually slip by to secure second, with Danny Dietrich snagging Schatz’ chance for a podium with less than two to go.
Just a few nights prior at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway, Schatz finished 12th, advancing two spots total in the annual Gettysburg Clash. With all results considered, the ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion remains sixth in the championship chase, 282 points behind Gravel. Still chasing his first victory of the 2025 WoO campaign, Schatz will continue action Wednesday and Thursday with a doubleheader at Ohsweken Speedway, Canada.

Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will continue their 2025 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a Canadian tripleheader beginning at Ohsweken Speedway on Wednesday and Thursday, May 14-15, followed by a visit to Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 18.
