BROWNSBURG, Ind. (May 31, 2022) – Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing may have ended their trek through Ohio and Indiana without a victory, but their results speak for themselves, capping the two-race over three-day sweep at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, and Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, with one top-ten result, the product of a six-spot climb at the Atomic highbanks.
Schatz, driver of the Advance Auto Parts, Carquest, Ford Motor Company, Ford Performance, Curb Records, Sage Fruit, Digital Ally, Absolute Automation and Security, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts, No. 15 sprint car, finished eighth at Atomic Speedway, forced to start mid-pack after missing a dash position, but still transferring through his respective heat race.
Although missing the top-ten at Lawrenceburg, the ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion and Fargo, North Dakota, native, put on a show, eventually capping the evening with a hard-fought rally from 18th to finish 11th.

Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will continue their 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a trip through the Dakotas, first visiting River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota, on Friday, June 3, followed by a stop at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on Sunday, June 5.
