BROWNSBURG, Ind. (February 4, 2021) – Tony Stewart and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing made the long haul from Arizona to the east coast during the recent week, eventually landing in the Peach State where the All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 kicked-off their inaugural Sugarlands Shine Southern Tour presented by Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia, on January 29-30.

Joining over 30 All Stars and touring Outlaws, Stewart’s weekend at Screven resulted in one main event start, eventually translating a ninth-row push-off into a 13th-place finish, ultimately tying for the evening’s Hard Charger Award. A fifth-place performance during his respective heat race allowed Stewart to qualify for Friday evening’s $8,000-to-win main event.

Unfortunately, Stewart’s luck ran thin during Screven’s $10,000-to-win Winter Freeze finale on Saturday. The three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion cut a right rear tire while racing in a transfer position during the evening’s B-Main; “Smoke” was scored 12th.

After a designated travel day on Sunday, January 31, and a weather related cancellation on Monday, February 1, Tony Stewart and the Rush Truck Centers/Advance Auto Parts/Curb Records/Ford Performance/Digital Ally/Sage Fruit/FloRacing/Absolute Automation and Security/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Mobil 1/Carquest Auto Parts/No. 14 team returned to competition with a visit to East Bay Raceway Park near Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday, February 2. The decision to join the All Stars at the “Clay by the Bay” resulted in Stewart’s third top-ten appearance of the season, maintaining a spot inside the top-ten to finish eighth after starting fifth on the feature grid.

Tony Stewart’s upcoming open wheel agenda has not yet been determined. Fans are encouraged to keep alert online, as well as on social media, for any and all updates pertaining to Stewart’s future plans.
