BROWNSBURG, Ind. (November 8, 2021) – The “Madman” Kerry Madsen certainly lived up to his persona during the recent weekend, capping the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte with a pair of top-ten finishes, highlighting the three-day turned two-day affair with a podium performance on Friday, November 5.

Exciting, to say the least, Madsen’s podium was not a guaranteed outcome until the closing circuits, as the St Marys, New South Wales, Australia-native battled by Brent Marks for fourth with eight laps remaining, claiming third from Carson Macedo with two laps remaining, then sliding by “Blackjack” Brian Brown for second in the final corner.

“I can’t say enough about this Tony Stewart Racing car,” Kerry Madsen said. “It’s been an absolute dream to drive this year and I couldn’t be happier. I think we were in a position to win a few more races, but we’ll move forward and see what the future brings.”

Although unable to match his podium outcome, Madsen’s final night in the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing/Rush Truck Centers/Advance Auto Parts/Curb Records/Ford Performance/Digital Ally/Sage Fruit/FloRacing/Absolute Automation and Security/Hunt Brothers Pizza/Mobil 1/Carquest Auto Parts/TicketSmarter/J&J Auto Racing/No. 14 sprint car did result in a top-ten finish, this time climbing from 13th to finish sixth. A fourth-place score during heat race competition secured Madsen’s position on the feature grid.

A “super sub” in his own right, Madsen powered Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing to a trio of $10,000 World of Outlaws victories in 2021, two of which occurring during Jackson Nationals preliminary competition at Jackson Motorplex on June 24-25. Madsen’s third World of Outlaws victory occurred during Port Royal Speedway’s Nittany Showdown on Friday, October 8.
